Russian Foreign Ministry issues “red line” warning: What awaits those sending military contingents to Ukraine?

“Any foreign military contingent that obstructs a sustainable settlement in Ukraine will become a legitimate military target for Russia. The West will bear responsibility for further escalation,” TodayPress TV reports.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova made the statement during a briefing.

“As we have repeatedly emphasized, any foreign contingent in Ukraine that obstructs the conduct of the special military operation and the achievement of a sustainable settlement is completely unacceptable and will become a legitimate military target,” she stressed.

“Therefore, responsibility will fall on Western politicians who make decisions to further escalate the conflict,” Zakharova added.
