Ghalibaf reveals a high-profile plan: What are neighboring countries negotiating with Iran?
The Iranian leadership has received messages from neighboring countries regarding the establishment of a new security system in the Persian Gulf region, TodayPress TV reports.
“We have received messages from neighboring countries regarding the development of new security arrangements in the region,” Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said.
According to Ghalibaf, he believes that “only an independent security system in the region will bring peace.” He did not disclose which neighboring countries had sent Tehran such messages.
