Trump jokingly complains that Karoline Leavitt loves her children more than him

United States President Donald Trump jokingly complained that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt gives her children more preference than she gives him.

United States President Donald Trump made the remarks at a rally in South Carolina, TodayPress TV reports, citing RIA Novosti.

“Her baby was just born, and I just found out that she loves this baby more than Donald Trump. And I’m very angry with her about that,” Trump said.

On August 12, Trump announced that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had left her position. Earlier, Leavitt had announced the birth of her second child.

According to the US leader, Leavitt made the decision to spend more time with her beautiful young children and family. He said he fully understood and respected the decision. Trump thanked Leavitt for a “job well done” and called her “a real leader in the White House.”

The 28-year-old Leavitt is married to 61-year-old businessman Nicholas Riccio. The couple got engaged in 2023, and Leavitt gave birth to a son in July 2024.

Earlier, Trump dismissed Kristi Noem from her position over a workplace romantic relationship.
